The “Fine Arts” were on full display last week at the annual St. Mary’s Catholic School Talent Show.
Several students were given the opportunity to showcase their creative skills and talents in the St. Mary’s Gym Thursday, March 21.
Throughout the last 127 years, St. Mary’s Catholic School has offered the full complement of fine arts within its curriculum — music, visual art, art history, choir, theater, band and dance, school officials said.
Music, plays and programs have been an integral part of a St. Mary’s education and the talent show was the continuation of that tradition.
Performing at the talent show this year was Hudson Luedtke, Lydia Melcher, Norah Barta, Ethan Guzman, Isaac Nemec, Danielle Nemec, Addy Bixby, Lila Gonzalez, Nora Bixby, Gunner Streit, Derrick Aleman, Paul Melcher, Blake Yezak, Grayson Stoecklein, the St. Mary’s Pep Squad and the St. Mary’s Cheerleaders.
St. Mary’s Catholic School said it appreciates those who helped organize this event to make it the success that it was.
St. Mary’s is now accepting applications for next school year.
