THRALL — Following a storybook run to the state tournament, the Thrall High School boys varsity basketball team announced its selections for 2A-District 27 alldistrict awards.

Steven Walker was one of two superlative winners for the Tigers as he was awarded the Defensive Most Valuable Player, while Carson Ball was named the Sixth Man of the Year.

Dawson Meiske and Breken Proctor were named first-team selections, Ethan Dahl was a second-team pick and Payton Gillmore was also named an honorable mention.
