Adelmo Torres, 35, of Taylor, at 8:35 p.m., in the 200 block of West Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., officers responded to a report of shots fired, with the suspect leaving the scene prior to officer’s arrival. An investigation revealed Torres discharged a firearm in a public place. Torres was later located in the 2700 block of Sunny Lane. Torres also had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for disorderly conduct-discharge firearm, a class B misdemeanor. Torres was placed under arrest for the warrant and was further charged with another count of disorderly conduct-discharge firearm, a class B misdemeanor.
MARCH 1
Gabriel Moultry, 23, of Taylor, at 3:06 p.m., at Taylor Police Department, 500 S. Main St., officers apprehended Moultry, who had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for violation of conditions of bond-assault by contact, a class C misdemeanor.
Carl Goericke, 68, of Taylor, at 8:45 a.m., in the 2300 block of Meadow Lane, officers apprehended Goericke, who had an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for prohibited sexual conduct, a second-degree felony.
Antonio Sanchez, 20, of Taylor, at 4:51 a.m., in the 2700 block of Sunny Lane, officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Sanchez threatened to use a pair of scissors to cause bodily harm to a member of the household. Sanchez was placed under arrest and charged with terroristic threat/family violence, a class A misdemeanor.
Michael Ortega, 32, of Taylor, at 10:56 p.m., in the 1700 block of W. Lake Drive, officers placed Ortega under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
MARCH 2
Baldamar Salazar, 69, of Taylor, at 9:39 p.m., in the 100 block of E. Seventh St., officers placed Salazar under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated-second offense, a class A misdemeanor.
MARCH 3
Leo Mesa, 56, of Taylor, at 7:36 p.m., in the 1600 block of N. Main St., officers placed Mesa under arrest, charging him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
