An Elgin resident is looking to take others to the cross — an empty cross.
On Wednesday, April 17, Ivory Thomas will take a group to The Empty Cross and sculpture prayer garden in Kerrville. Thomas said the garden features statues of characters in the Bible.
Admission for the trip is $50 per person. The cost does not include meals.
Lunch will be at the YO Ranch all you can eat buffet for $17.54.
The bus will leave from Elgin Walmart at 6:30 a.m. and return at 6:30 p.m.
