ROCKDALE — The Taylor High School and Thrall High School boys and girls varsity track and field teams competed Friday, March 1 at the Rockdale Relays meet and had numerous standout performers.
TAYLOR LADY DUCKS
2nd - Angelee Phillips, Asia Zachary, Tiana Candee and Zakaya Frederick in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:50.38.
2nd - Asia Zachary in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27 seconds.
2nd - Asia Zachary in the high jump with a mark of five feet.
3rd - Asia Zachary, Payton Glover, Tiana Candee and Zakaya Frederick in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 50.76 seconds.
5th - Angelee Phillips, Janess Garcia, Payton Glover and Tiana Candee in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:41.14.
5th - Angelee Phillips in the triple jump with a mark of 33 feet nine inches.
TAYLOR DUCKS
1st - Syris Corley in the shot put with a mark of 47 feet 10 inches.
3rd - Antonio Torres, James Griffin, Joel Lopez and Treos Richardson in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:39.62.
3rd - Syris Corley in the discus with a mark of 128 feet six inches.
5th - Ethan Flagg, Jemarcus Seawood, Jerrell Roberson and Kyetrevius Sanford in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 45.13 seconds.
5th - Ethan Flagg, Jackson Meller, Jerrell Roberson and Joshua Mikulencak in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:34.55.
THRALL TIGERETTES
1st - Nevaeh Irvin in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.65 seconds.
1st - Melaina Grissom in the long jump with a mark of 17 feet.
1st - Melaina Grissom in the triple jump with a mark of 35 feet 9.75 inches.
2nd - Melaina Grissom, Nevaeh Irvin, Kassie Jackson and Avery Koonce in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 49.94 seconds.
2nd - Avery Koonce in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.90 seconds.
2nd - Melaina Grissom in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.53 seconds.
2nd - Avery Koonce in the pole vault with a mark of 10 feet.
3rd - Nevaeh Irvin in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.07.
3rd - Brynn Leschber in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.98 seconds.

THRALL TIGERS

5th - Jaden Spence in the long jump with a mark of 19 feet three inches.
6th - Chance Parker, David Tijerina, Jaden Spence and Travis Matthews in the 4x200-meter relay with a time of 1:35.61.
6th - Alejandro Estrada, Chris Gonzalez, Chris Kelm and Jaden Spence in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:48.18.
6th - Jaden Spence in the triple jump with a mark of 38 feet seven inches.
Thursday will be meet day for Taylor as the school hosts the Cotton Boll Relays, while Thrall will travel to Holland to compete in the Rosa Relays.
