TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

JAN. 29

Nathaniel McFarlin, 30, of Taylor, at 8:45 p.m., in the 800 block of Booth St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.

An investigation revealed McFarlin physically assaulted a member of the family, causing injury. McFarlin was placed under arrest and charged with assault with injury/ family violence-enhanced due to previous convictions, a third-degree felony.

Kevin Cobb, 37, of Taylor, at 7:50 p.m., in the 1200 block of Vance St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. Officers located Green, who was found to be intoxicated. Green was placed under arrest and charged with public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor.

JAN. 30

Collin Randig, 19, of Taylor, at 11:03 p.m., in the 5600 block of N. Main St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Randig, who was found to be in possession of Xanax and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) wax. Randig was placed under arrest and charged with possession of controlled substance, penalty group 2 over two grams, a second-degree felony, and possession of controlled substance, penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, a class A misdemeanor.

FEB. 2

Hannah Villareal, 20, of Taylor, at 5:16 p.m., in the 2200 block of Boyer St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Villareal physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Villareal was placed under arrest and charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a class A misdemeanor.

FEB. 3

Carlos Benitez, 23, of Taylor, at 12:10 p.m., at Taylor Square Apartments, 1005 Cottonbowl Dr., officers responded to a report of an unwanted person. An investigation revealed Benitez solicited a minor online for sex. Benitez was placed under arrest and charged with online solicitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.

Jamilla Williams, 47, of Taylor, at 10:46 p.m., in the 2200 block of W. 2nd St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Williams, who had two outstanding warrants: 1) theft over $2500, a state jail felony out of Taylor, and 2) theft over $750, a class A misdemeanor out of Round Rock. Williams was placed under arrest for the warrants.

FEB. 4

Coby Hanson, 18, of Taylor, at 8:12 a.m., in the 1400 block of Sherry Dr., officers responded to a report of a subject asleep in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.

Officers located Hanson asleep in a running motor vehicle. There were two juveniles in the back seat of the vehicle.

Hanson told officers he provided alcoholic drinks to the minors that evening.

Hanson was placed under arrest and charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, a class A misdemeanor.
