BARTLETT — The Granger High School boys varsity basketball team went on the road Friday, Feb. 2 to rival Bartlett High School and the Lions picked up a crucial 43-41 victory over the Bulldogs.
In a back-and-forth affair for the whole evening, Granger got a clutch go-ahead three-pointer from junior Isaac Campos down the stretch of the fourth quarter for a 43-41 lead that would hold the rest of the way.
Campos scored in double figures for the Lions with a team-high 10 points on two three-pointers made, two rebounds and one assist while Lions senior Trae Herrera had eight points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Lions sophomore Caleb Tucker scored eight points on a pair of treys and five rebounds, while fellow sophomore Kael Jackson had a solid allaround game with seven points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots and one steal against Bartlett.
