ROUND ROCK — The Hutto High School boys and girls varsity wrestling teams were in action Wednesday, Jan. 31 at the 6A-District 13 meet held at Round Rock High School.
Hutto Hippos
Clyde Adams won the 126pound class after he defeated Corbin Porter of Copperas Cove High School.
Luke Adams won the 132pound class after he defeated Bryce Hampton of Austin Vandegrift High School.
Trystan Blenis won the 150pound class after he defeated Shawn Harden of Round Rock.
Reece Frausto won the 157pound class after he defeated Cole Starr of Round Rock.
Eli Rivas won the 165pound class after he defeated Baelen Schultz of Vandegrift.
Ayden Flanagan was victorious in the 144-pound thirdplace match after he defeated Diego Estrada of Temple High School.
Juan Soto was victorious in the 175-pound fourth-place match after he defeated Cody Allen of Harker Heights High School.
Sayed Miri was victorious in the 106-pound fifthplace match after he defeated Zachary Ortiz of Copperas Cove.
Rashad Thomas placed sixth in the 138-pound class, while Ethan Abbott placed seventh in the 113-pound class for Hutto and was the tenth boys regional qualifier.

Abigail Gallardo was the runner-up in the 120-pound title match after she was defeated by Brooke McCurley of Round Rock.
Carley Lopez was victorious in the 132-pound thirdplace match after she defeated Haleigh Poser of Copperas Cove.
Shaina Deluna was victorious in the 106-pound fourthplace match after she defeated Sky Nelms of Vandegrift.
Maya Villalon was victorious in the 100-pound fifthplace match after she defeated Michaela Grimm of Copperas Cove.
Aaliyah Nichols was victorious in the 145-pound fifthplace match after she defeated Aiya Withers of Round Rock Cedar Ridge High School.
Michelle Obinna-Kanu was victorious in the 152-pound fifth-place match after she defeated Emilee Quintero of Copperas Cove.
Breanna Delgado placed sixth in the 126-pound class after she was defeated in the fifth-place match by Capucine Brochard of Temple.
The Region 4 wrestling meet for 6A will be Feb. 9-10 and will be held at Littleton Gymnasium in San Antonio.
