CALDWELL — The Taylor High School boys varsity basketball team went on the road Tuesday, Jan. 9 for a 4A-District 22 game against Caldwell High School and the Ducks fell 65-56 in a hard-fought contest to the host Hornets.

Despite an early deficit throughout the first quarter, Taylor was able to grind in the second and third quarters in a backand- forth game with Caldwell.

The Ducks were able to tie the game at 50-50 in the fourth quarter, but the Hornets pulled away down the stretch of the final period.

In the loss, the Ducks were led by senior Treos Richardson who finished with a team-high 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor, two shots made from behind the arc and seven rebounds.
