It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
FEB. 21
Tracy Collins, 33, of Taylor, at 7:36 a.m., in the 200 block of S. Dolan St., officers observed Collins in the driver’s seat of vehicle parked at that location. Collins was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, as well as various credit cards and driver’s licenses belonging to various subjects not present with Collins. Collins was arrested and charged with theft-possession of stolen vehicle, a state jail felony; fraudulent possession/use of credit or debit car, a state jail felony; and possession of controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than one gram, state jail felony. Collins is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $25,000.
FEB. 23
Luis Delacruz, 43, of Taylor, at 7:55 a.m., officers learned that Delacruz had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant for indecency with a child, seconddegree felony. Delacruz is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
FEB. 24
Jerry Leshikar, 37, of Taylor, at 3:40 p.m., in the 3300 block of Crystal Circle, officers apprehended Leshikar, who had an outstanding warrant for harassment, a class B misdemeanor. Leshikar posted bond for $5,000 and was released Feb. 25.
