PCP found in toxicology report

The toxicology report for a Taylor man who went missing for three weeks this summer shows the victim had drugs in his system.

According to the Taylor Police Department, the toxicology report for Adrian Zachary, 45, revealed he had marijuana and PCP in his system. The cause of the death is still undetermined according to investigators. According to Taylor Police Commander Joseph Branson, the case is closed. Zachary’s family told police he had been missing since June 20, and a report was filed three days later. On Thursday, July 6, officers and detectives responded at 9:54 p.m. to a body found in a cornfield in the 600 block of Gravel Pit Road.

The body was in advanced stages of decomposition.

Preliminary indications showed no signs of trauma and nothing suspicious was found at the scene, officers said.

On July 10, it was confirmed by Hill Country Forensics that the body was Zachary.
