The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce will hand out top awards later this month.
The Chamber is hosting its annual Chamber and Community Awards Banquet Tuesday, Jan. 16 at the Williamson County Expo Center, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail.
The deadline to register for the annual event is Friday, Jan. 5.
Individual registration for the banquet costs $50 and can be purchased on the Chamber’s website. The banquet is set to begin at 6 p.m. with a happy hour. The program will begin at 7 p.m. and is expected to end by 9 p.m.
The event features awards for Rotary Club’s Citizen of the Year, the Taylor Area Businesswomen’s Outstanding Woman of the Year and the Chamber’s Customer Service and Business of the Year.
The 2024 theme is “All Aboard for Success.” Last year, Sam Dowdy won Citizen of the Year, Stacy Stork was named Outstanding Woman of the Year, John Matthews won the Customer Service Award and Gatti’s Pizza was named business of the year.
Chet Garner, host of “The Daytripper”, is expected to appear at the Taylor event this month as the featured spectacle.

towns.
