Konnie Wolbrueck, 63, of Granger, went to be with her Lord and Savior Feb. 9, 2022.

Konnie was born to Thomas (Tom) and Billie Jennings Feb. 28, 1958.

She attended school in Leander. She met her husband, Ronnie Wolbrueck, while working together at IBM in Austin. They were married Sept. 3, 2005, in Georgetown.

Konnie loved her family fiercely. She was tenacious and known for her spunk and laughter that could light up a room. She had a steadfast faith in God that was unwavering in the midst of suffering during her seven-year battle with cancer.

Konnie was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Danny and Roger Jennings.

She leaves behind her husband of 16 years, Ronnie; her son, Seth Womack and his wife Kristie, her son, Shelby Womack and his wife Laura; her siblings, Steve Jennings and his wife Patsy, Karen Jennings, Kathy Ponton, and Tami Hawkins and her husband Dayne; her nine grandchildren and two-great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored and affectionately called her “babies”; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Konnie’s family extends sincere thanks to Becky and Mitzi from Community Bible Church and the nurses and caregivers at Altus Hospice for their loving care.

Visitation was held Friday, Feb. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Gabriel’s Funeral Chapel and Crematory in Georgetown.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. at the Community Bible Church in Weir.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Konnie’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
