Safety and security continue to be a top priority in Taylor Independent School District. As a result, the district continues to work diligently to seek out the best-qualified personnel from outside security agencies that have been vetted by the state.
After an extensive vetting process of security companies and staff, Taylor ISD has chosen to partner with Cascadia Security Group to provide four armed security guards serving T.H. Johnson, Naomi Pasemann, Main Street Elementary and Legacy Early College High School. The current school resource officers will continue in their positions at Taylor High School and Taylor Middle School.
These security guards will be visible and present on campus during the school day, and their only responsibility will be to keep the building and grounds safe and secure. They will not be involved with discipline or other student issues.
