TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

NOV. 21

Juna Araujo, 17, of Taylor, at noon in 200 block of Park Street, officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Araujo physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Araujo was arrested and charged with assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor.

NOV. 24

Noah Bucek, 25, of Taylor, at 9:17 a.m., in the 1000 block of Porter Street, officers conducted a traffic stop on Bucek, who had two outstanding warrants out of Williamson County for bond forfeiture- unlawful carrying of a weapon, a class A misdemeanor; and bond forfeiture possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor. Bucek was arrested for the warrants. Bucek posted bond for $6,000 and was released Nov. 25.

NOV. 26

Ricardo Lopez, 64, of Taylor, at 2:07 a.m., in the 100 block of W. Seventh Street, officers responded to a report of an unwanted person. Officers located Lopez, who had an outstanding warrant out of Austin Pardon and Parole for driving while intoxicated-third or more, a state jail felony. Lopez was arrested for the warrant. Lopez is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail.

Javier Yanez, 51, of Taylor, at 8:04 p.m., in the 200 block of Highland Dr., officers responded to a report of a violation of a protective order. An investigation revealed that Yanez violated an active protective order and caused damage to property at the residence. Yanez was later located in the 1100 block of Fisher Street where he was arrested. Yanez was charged with violation of protective order with previous convictions, a thirddegree felony, and criminal mischief, a class B misdemeanor. Yanez is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
