COUPLAND — Children will have free visits with Santa at Coupland’s historic Depot this Christmas season.
Sponsored by the Coupland Civic Organization, this event is becoming a Coupland Christmas tradition. It is the second annual visit from Santa, portrayed by Jonathan Jones.
Santa travels to the Depot on a Coupland Volunteer Fire Department fire truck. The free visits with Santa will be Sunday, Dec.
17, from 5 to 7 p.m. Families can take free pictures with Santa, and the childen will get free cookies and free candy canes.
There will be caroling by the horseback carolers from St. Peter’s Church of Coupland, weather permitting.
Santa will visit with the children rain or shine, since he will be in the Depot.
