The Granger Main Street Farmer’s Market meets every first and third Saturdays April through October from 10 a.m. to noon at the corner of W.

Second Saturday
Every second Saturday of the month, Taylor’s downtown businesses will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and offer in-store specials, live music, door prizes and other activities. The event is designed to encourage residents to become familiar with shops in the downtown area.
SPJST Lodge 29 Taylor
Every Friday, SPJST Lodge 29 hosts live music and dancing and serves hamburgers in its hall at 5025 FM 619. Bands play from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Admission is free. SPJST is a fraternal organization. Residents can purchase life insurance, annuities or other items to become a member of the SPJST.
The hall is open for business Wednesdays through Sundays from 3-10 p.m.
Cotton Country Club
Every weekend, the Cotton Country Club hosts live music, dancing and dinein service in its hall at 212 E. Davilla St., Granger. Free dance lessons every first and third Saturday from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Sunday bike rides
Every Sunday morning at 9 a.m., Taylor Bike Company hosts a bicycle ride, 204 N.
Main St. The riding level is based on which riders show up. Prepare for hot weather and sun exposure. Bring your bike, helmet, hat, sunglasses, tennis shoes and water bottles or a camelback. Expect hot weather and community togetherness.
Sunday Funday
Every Sunday, Black Sparrow Music Parlor will be opening their doors for fresh mimosas, cold brew and beer from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 113 W. Second St. The stage will be open for attendees with instruments.
Outside food will be allowed for this lowkey community event.
Weight-loss group
The Taylor Take Off Pounds Sensibly Chapter 1343 will have in-person meetings for their weight-loss support group Thursdays at 4:30 p.m. at Grace Place, 301 Grace Lane. Members are recommitting to their health journeys and invite others who have struggled with their weight to join them at the meeting. Attendees should use the office entrance to Grace Place.

Walk of Fame
HUTTO – Saturday, Jan. 27 — From 5-10 p.m., the Hutto Chamber of Commerce will put on a red carpet event at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions in the lower-level ball room, 3001 Kalahari Blvd. The event will honor outstanding businesses, organizations and citizens.
