Give Taylor this holiday

SPECIAL TO THE PRESS

The Greater Taylor Foundation is urging people who love the community to “Give Taylor” now through midnight Nov. 28, Giving Tuesday.

“We want to partner with all of our Taylor 501c3 charities and ask people to help make a difference by giving where they are living,” GTF Board Chair Diana Phillips said. “We have so many organizations providing lifelines to local residents and they need help from all of us who can give.”

Using the URL GiveTaylor. org, supporters can go online and donate any amount they wish.

“They can even do it ‘in honor’ or ‘in memory’ of a loved one and I think that would make such a special way to gift someone this season,” Phillps said.

Phillips also reached out to Susan and Blaine Faykus of Faykus Financial who agreed to donate to each organization up to 50 cents for every dollar raised. Their donation will be distributed per dollar raised by each group.
