It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
NOV. 6
Delmas Roney, 30, of Taylor was arrested at 9:03 p.m. in the 1000 block of W. Fourth Street. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance. An investigation revealed Roney physically assaulted a member of the household, causing injury. Roney was placed under arrest and charged with assault with injury/ family violence, a class A misdemeanor.
NOV. 10
Jesus Trujillo, 21, of Taylor was arrested at 10:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Shaw Street. Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the on Rio Grande Street. Officers located the vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Trujillo, the driver of the vehicle, failed to stop and led officers on a vehicle pursuit which ended in the 100 block of Shaw Street. Officers placed Trujillo under arrest and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a state jail felony, and evading arrest in a motor vehicle, a class A misdemeanor.
NOV. 11
Jorge Mendoza, 45, of Taylor was arrested at 12:24 a.m. in the 200 block of N. Main Street. Officers responded to a report of a subject attempting to fight patrons. Officers located Mendoza and placed him under arrest, charging him with public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor.
