The bank chain that includes Taylor’s Eagle Bank has a branch has received a premier distinction.
Round Top State Bank, headquartered in Round Top, has earned a fivestar rating from BauerFinancial, Inc., a nationwide bank rating firm.
“Banking on the community while its neighbors and friends bank with it has been a winning combination for Round Top State Bank,” said BauerFinancial in a press release. “Working together towards common goals and interests has allowed Round Top State Bank to continuously earn this top rating for 72 quarters.”
To earn this top rating, Round Top State Bank had to excel in an in-depth, independent analysis of its financial condition, which has done so since September 2004. The consecutiveness gives Round Top State Bank an added distinction of Exceptional Performance Bank, a privilege that only banks with a minimum of 40 consecutive 5-Star ratings can claim.
