Granger crowns Homecoming king, queen

GRANGER — A grand Granger group of royalty took center stage when the 2023 Homecoming king and queen were crowned at halftime of the Lions’ football game.

Isaac Lizardo was named king, while Jaila Rollie was named queen.

Rollie is the daughter of Jaime Rollie, and was escorted by her brother Jadan and sister Jordyn. She is involved in both volleyball and basketball. Her favorite things about school is friends, sports, and hanging out with Coach Shelby. After graduation, she plans to go to college and study kinesiology at Tarleton State University or the University of Houston.

Lizardo is the son of Martin and Maria Lizardo, and was escorted by his parents, his brothers Ismael and Antonio and his sister Susy. He is involved in football, baseball, powerlifting and FCA. Lizardo’s favorite thing about school is hanging out with his friends since Pre-K. After graduation, he plans to attend Blinn College and get his associates in commercial construction management.
