King and queen crowned at the Pond

Taylor High School crowned a new Homecoming king and queen at Friday night’s football game against Davenport.

Mariella Aguilar was named queen, while Treos Richardson was named king.

Aguilar was nominated by band. Richardson was nominated by boys’ basketball.

Last year’s Homecoming queen Annalise Frias crowned Aguilar. In the absence of last year’s king Jarvis Anderson, Richardson’s brother, Principal Matt Wamble helped with crowning duties.

The 2023 Homecoming prince and princess were Devin Valdez and Ansley Reed.
