Perry Wayne Campbell
Perry Wayne Campbell from Taylor, was born Jan. 24, 1958, to Ernest and Dorothy Campbell. He left to be with the Lord on Oct. 18. Perry was the youngest of three children.
He worked at ALCOA for over 25 years as a mechanical designer and draftsman. He was a very intelligent and kind man. He loved taking things apart and putting them back together again to see how they worked. He was the same with people. It wasn’t just the outside that he cared about, but what was going on within a person that he really cared for. He was an amazing father and a friend to everyone he met.
As a faithful servant of God, he was a student of the Bible and actively followed the principles and practices of Jehovah Witnesses. A light for those lost in the dark. He will be missed very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Dorothy; and his eldest sister, Martha.
He is survived by his sister, Rita (Robert); daughter, Kahlee (Tyler); grandchildren, Phillip, Evie, Orion and Penny; niece, Teri (Agustin); nephew, John (Melissa); and grandnephews Noah, Joshua and Micah.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. at Providence Funeral home in Taylor.
There will be another memorial service Nov. 4, at 10:30 a.m. in his hometown at the Flint Community Church.
