Horse exposition

Saturday, Oct. 7 — From 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Williamson County Expo Center will host a Bluebonnet Horse Expo and Rescue Horse Training Challenge, 5350 Bill Pickett Trail. There will be demos and presentations by equine professionals from across Texas, merchandise available and, bonus, 50-60 rescue horses will be on hand to meet after their training challenge competition! Seminar: Winter safety

Tuesday, Oct. 10 — From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Top Hat Chimney Sweeps, LLC., is hosting a seminar on 5 Ways to Keep Your Family Safe this Winter including fire prevention training, 109 E. 38th Annual Hutto Olde Tyme Days Saturday, Oct. 14 — From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., the Hutto Chamber of Commerce will host their 38th Annual Hutto Olde Tyme Days festival, 122 E.

Saturday, Oct. 14 — At noon, join the Texas Beer Company for their 8th annual OkTaylorfest with German food, music and limited-edition TBC glassware, 1331 W. Second St.

Hunter’s Moon Market

Saturday, Oct. 14 — From 6 to 10 p.m., Rituals Herbal will host a Halloween season market at Old Taylor High, 410 W. Seventh St. This will be the third installment of Moon Market.

There will be more than 40 vendors, a costume contest, candy, free Lonestar beer in room 206 for 21+ attendees, live music and more. The environment is kid and pet friendly.

Hutto Middle School Fall Fest Friday, Oct. 20 — From 5 to 7 p.m., Hutto Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association will host the 2023 Fall Fest, 1005 Exchange Blvd.

Basecamp 1, Hutto. There will be vendors, food trucks, community partners and games.

Granger Chili Cook-Off

Saturday, Oct. 21 — From 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., the Granger Area Chamber of Commerce will host a chili cook-off at the Waterin’ Hole & FeedBag Restuarant, 111 E. Davilla St., Granger. Contestants must use propane stoves only, no trailers and no electricity, and have a fire extinguisher. Chili and Jackpot Beans entry fees are $25 each. Car and truck show entry fees are $10. Live music from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watern Hole. Haunted House from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. For more, call 1-737-837-2767.

Séance session

Saturday, Oct. 21 — At 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., Curio Mrvosa and The Austin Séance will host two séance sessions at the Black Sparrow Music Parlor, 113 W. Second St. Albert Lucio and Jake Cordero of The Austin Séance will discuss the history of them and demonstrate tools used during sessions. Tickets are $30. 10th Annual Main Street Car Show Saturday, Oct. 28 — From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visit the largest car show in central Texas in downtown Taylor hosted by Main Street Car Show. Guests can peruse downtown shops and cool off with cold drinks. Tickets are $17.

OTH Trick or Treat

Saturday, Oct. 28 — From 6 to 8 p.m., Old Taylor High will host its 5th annual Trick or Treat where shops will be open for trick or treating and everyone is welcome to candy, eating, drinking, shopping and playing, 410 W. Seventh St.
