With the Burnet Lady Bulldogs being eliminated in the regional finals against Hardin-Jefferson on Saturday, the 4A Region III District 19 Girls district honors have been released.
Three Lady Duck seniors, Natalie Alderete, Destiny Lewis and A’ja Lucas, sophomore Ansley Reed and freshman Sophia Fisher all earned All-District honors.
Lewis was named 4A III D-19 Defensive MVP. Reed was named 1st Team All-District. Alderete was named 2nd Team All-District, and Lucas and Fisher received honorable mention.
Fisher and Reed will be returning next season as the Lady Ducks look to improve as Coach Lawrence Bailey enters his second season as coach.
