HUTTO — Fritz Park is hosting a trick or treat event in the park at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. Parents and kids are highly encouraged to be in costume for Hutto Parks and Recreation’s sensory friendly time at 5 p.m. and trick-or-treating with vendors at 5:30 p.m.
The sensory-friendly time will have reduced excessive sounds and vendors will be separated for adequate spacing.
Winners for the weeks-long Halloween House-Off will be announced at 7 p.m. and Hocus Pocus 2 will be shown thirty minutes later at 7:30 p.m.
The Halloween House-Off, also hosted by the Hutto Parks and Recreation Department, will be judged in three categories: Best Theme Related to a Halloween Movie or Character, Best Use of Motion and the Scariest House.
Registration began Sept. 2 and runs through Thursday, Oct. 19.
