STAFF REPORTS

It’s not everyday residents can have breakfast with a high-profile businessman. The Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce is offering a chance when it hosts its Power Breakfast.

Nyle Maxwell, founder of a Taylor car dealership and former Round Rock mayor, will share his thoughts with local business and community leaders Thursday, Oct. 26 at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Taylor.

The Nyle Maxwell family of dealerships sells new and used Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck, GMC and FIAT cars, SUVs, CUVs, trucks and vans.

“Businessman and philanthropist Nyle Maxwell is looking at the same growth issues everyone in our area is facing,” Taylor Chamber CEO Tia Rae Stone said. “He will address those and talk about the need to support each other through philanthropy.”

The Power Breakfast kicks off at 7:30 a.m. with networking and breakfast followed by an update on the Chamber’s advocacy efforts before Maxwell speaks.

The Chamber says that everyone with an interest in the Taylor area business landscape will want to attend to hear and share their thoughts on growth.

Seating is limited to 60 and there is one sponsorship still available for $450 that includes promotion and eight seats. Holiday Inn and Taylor Housing Authority are sponsors.

Individual tickets are $50 for Chamber members and $65 for non-members. Registration is available online at www. taylorchamber.org or by emailing info@taylorchamber. org Stone said the event and series are designed so speakers can share their unique strategies for facing specific business challenges, and to bring the business community together for critical information and valuable networking.
