TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

SEPT. 11

Marissa Vargas, 39, of Taylor was arrested at 3:09 a.m., in the 1800 block of FM 112. Officers apprehended Vargas, who had an outstanding warrant out of Milam County for Probation Violation-Possession of Controlled Substance, penalty group 1, a state jail felony. Vargas is still in the custody of Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

SEPT. 12

Tina Tabor, 44, of Taylor was arrested at 9:42 a.m. Officers learned that Tabor had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor (Theft, a class A misdemeanor).

Tabor posted bond for $1,500 and was released Sept. 12.

Damion White, 38, of Houston was arrested at 3:30 p.m., in the 300 block of N. Main St. Officers conducted a traffic stop on White, who had an outstanding warrant out of Harris County for Evading Arrest/ Detention, a class B misdemeanor. White physically resisted officers while being placed under arrest and was further charged with Resist Arrest, Search or Transport, a class A misdemeanor. White is still in the custody of Williamson County Jail on a $5,010 bond.

Bertha Howard, 41, of Taylor was arrested at 7:53 a.m., in the 2200 block of Holly Springs Dr.

Officers apprehended Howard, who had an outstanding warrant out of Hays County for Harassment, a class B misdemeanor. Howard posted bond for $3,000 and was released Sept. 14.

SEPT. 14

Devonte Banham, 30, of Taylor was arrested at 10:30 a.m., in the 1600 block of N. Main St.

Officers observed Banham, who was a person of interest in a theft of a bicycle case. Banham was escorted to the Taylor Police Department where he confessed to the theft. Banham also confessed to taking items from a vehicle earlier in the day. Banham was charged with Theft of Property Over $750, a class A misdemeanor, as well as Burglary of a Vehicle, a class A misdemeanor.

Michael Jones, 34, of Taylor was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Officers learned that Jones had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor (Fail to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements, a third-degree felony). Jones posted bond for $10,000 and was released Sept. 1.
