On Monday, Sept. 18 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Mother Well will host its first play date at Percussion Park in Murphy Park, 1600 Veterans Dr.

Popsicles will be provided but kids are welcome to bring toys, scooters, etc. to play with while the mothers connect and chat.

Hutto Gatti’s Spirit Night

From 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 18, Nadine Johnson Elementary will partner with Mr. Gatti’s Pizza Hutto for a school fundraiser, 326 Ed Schmidt Blvd., Suite 110, Hutto.

Order pickup or delivery on behalf of Nadine Johnson and 20% of net sales will go to the school.

Music on Main

Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m., join Taylor Public Arts and Bogle Family Vineyards for the first Music on Main event of the fall series of 2023 at Heritage Square Park, 400 N. Main St.

Jake Waylon with Kelley McRae will be performing.

Bring your own drinks and refreshments for the show.

SPAY-ghetti Dinner & Dance 2023

Saturday, Sept. 23 — From 5 to 9 p.m., Taylor SPJST Lodge 29 will host the 3rd annual Texas Critter Crusaders SPAY-ghetti Dinner & Dance, 5025 FM 619. Proceeds go toward TCC’s mission to provide medical and preventative care to local animals at Taylor Animal Shelter. Dine-in and full event tickets are $30. To go meal tickets are $20. SPJST BBQ Cook-Off

Friday, Sept. 29 and Saturday, Sept. 30 — Taylor SPJST Lodge #29 will host the 22nd annual Barbecue Cook-Off with a $5,000-dollar prize, 5025 FM 619. There will be a silent auction from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and a free dance on Friday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. featuring “The Other Band.” For more, contact Jesse Pospisil 512826-7371 or jlpospisil@yahoo. com.
