TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

FEB. 15

Joel Castellanos, 33, of Taylor, 9:53 am. officers learned that Castellanos had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant for assault with injury/family violence, a class A misdemeanor.

FEB. 16

Steve Gonzales, 45, of Taylor, at 9:07 a.m., in the 500 block of Murphy St., officers apprehended Gonzales, who had four outstanding class C misdemeanor warrants for violation of city ordinance-dog at large, driving while license invalid, violation of city ordinance-no proof of rabies shots and violation of city ordinance-no city license tag for animal. Gonzales was taken to the Taylor Municipal Court where he was released to court staff.

FEB. 17

Moses Broadnax, 42, of Taylor, at 7:20 a.m., in the 1000 Burkett Street, officers apprehended Broadnax, who had an outstanding warrant out of Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office for possession of controlled substance bond forfeiture, a state jail felony. Broadnax was released to another agency Feb. 23.

Otoniel Lopez, 47, of Taylor, at 12:58 p.m., in the 400 block of Burkett St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Lopez, who had an outstanding warrant out of Travis County for bond forfeiture-class a misdemeanor theft of property. Lopez was arrested for the warrant. Lopez posted bond for $6,000 and was released Feb. 18.

FEB. 18

Anthony James Garcia Jr, 31, of Taylor, at 8:36 p.m., in the 2700 block Old Thorndale Road, officers responded to a caller advising a male was standing in the middle of the roadway yelling. An investigation revealed that Garcia was intoxicated in a public place and was a danger to himself and others. Garcia was charged with public intoxication a class C misdemeanor. Garcia posted bond for $250 and was released Feb. 19.

FEB. 19

Crystal Nicole Fisher, 38, of Taylor, at 9:47 a.m., at 900 block of Burkett St., officers apprehended Fisher for outstanding warrants for assault causing bodily injury, a class A misdemeanor and criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. Fisher posted bond that totaled $6,000 and was released the same day.

Timothy Lee Thompson, 59, of Taylor, at 10:03 p.m., in the 500 block of Old Thorndale Road, officers arrested Thompson and charged him with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction, a class A misdemeanor. Thompson posted bond for $3,000 and was released Feb. 20.
