It is important to note that an arrest should not be considered as evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
AUG. 15
Alex Flores, 17, of Taylor was arrested at 12:07 a.m., in the 1700 block of W. Second St. Officers observed two subjects actively burglarizing a vehicle. Officers detained the subjects, Flores and a juvenile accomplice, before making contact with the vehicle owner.
After the owner confirmed the two had not been given permission to be in the vehicle, the subjects were placed under arrest. Both were charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, a class A misdemeanor.
Flores was transported to the Williamson County Jail on a $5,000 bond. The juvenile was taken to the Williamson County Juvenile Justice Center.
AUG. 16
Pablo Fernandez, 19, of Taylor was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Officers learned that Fernandez had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant out of Taylor for Assault with Bodily Injury/Family Violence, a class A misdemeanor. Fernandez posted bond for $1,500 and was released the same day.
AUG. 17
Bernard Jones, 39, of Taylor was arrested at 2:45 a.m., in the 4800 block of E. Fourth St. Officers placed Jones under arrest, charging him with Driving While Intoxicated, 2nd offense, a class A misdemeanor. Jones posted bond for $3,000 and was released the same day.
AUG. 18
Denny Perez-Ramirez, 23, of Taylor was arrested at 6:58 p.m., in the 1600 block of E. Fourth St. Officers placed Perez-Ramirez under arrest, charging him with Driving While Intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor.
