Arvilla Jean (Waite) Paulson

Arvilla Jean (Waite) Paulson went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Arvilla Jean (Waite) Paulson went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Arvie was born Aug. 17, 1938, to Willis B. Waite and Thelma Burt Waite in Delhi, New York.

After many years of teaching arts and crafts in Delhi, the family moved to Texas where she continued her creativity by becoming a cake decorator and formed partnership in a wedding cake business.

After being the main caregiver for Lloyd and both of her parents, she launched her second career by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. She then opened and operated a health care agency in Williamson County for 10 years until her retirement.

She was an active and involved member of several churches and loved her church family dearly.

Avrie was preceded in death by husbands, Lloyd J. Potter and Lowell E. Paulson; and brother, Warren B. Waite.

She is survived by two children, Jeff

(Edwena) Potter of Flower Mound, and Gail (Doug) Trafton-Ruppel of Georgetown; and brother, Kenneth (Sue) Waite of Auburn, Georgia.

She was a dedicated grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Kalyn Potter-Waymel, Greg Potter, Daniel, Adam and Rachelle Trafton, and bonus granddaughter Anneliese Ruppel.

The service to celebrate Arvie’s life was held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Taylor.

Services were entrusted to Neptune Society-Austin.
