Maria Dolores Enriguez (Sanchez) passed away peacefully Feb. 20, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born July 8, 1934, to Manuel and Maria Jesusa Rios.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, David and Frank Sanchez; a grandson, Joel Ochoa; and a son-in-law, Melvin Demps.
Maria is survived by her daughters, Juanita Demps, Jovita Ochoa (Isaac) and Francis Sanchez Villarreal; sons, Jesse Sanchez, Jose Sanchez (Regina), Cecil Sanchez (Chema), Roy Sanchez (Karen), Rick Sanchez (Bernice) and Timo Sanchez. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 63 greatgrandchildren and 36 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, with recitation of the holy rosary beginning at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial was held Friday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taylor. Dolores was laid to rest at the Taylor City Cemetery.
