Dynamic workshop set to empower local businesses

The Taylor Economic Development Corporation will host a transformative Downtown Revitalization Workshop, aimed at empowering local businesses to flourish and breathe new life into downtown Taylor. This event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Taylor Independent School District’s Main Street Event Center, 3101 N. Main St.

The Taylor Economic Development Corporation will host a transformative Downtown Revitalization Workshop, aimed at empowering local businesses to flourish and breathe new life into downtown Taylor. This event will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Taylor Independent School District’s Main Street Event Center, 3101 N. Main St.

With the vision of fostering a vibrant and bustling downtown, Lorie Vincent with Acceleration by Design, will equip downtown businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to not just survive, but to thrive in today’s everchanging market.

“Ensuring a thriving downtown is not just a goal, it’s a commitment to ensuring the prosperity of our local businesses and enhancing the overall quality of life for our residents,” said Regina Jo Carlson, TEDC program manager. “This workshop will be a catalyst for positive change, inspiring businesses to embrace innovation, adapt to new challenges and create an inclusive and dynamic downtown experience.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, gaining practical knowledge on a wide range of topics: Trends in consumer behavior: Uncover emerging consumer trends and understand how to adapt your business offerings to meet evolving demands.

Building a strong online presence: Discover the power of digital marketing and social media to attract new customers and connect with your community.

Creating memorable customer experiences: Learn how to deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships to drive repeat business.

Innovative product and service development: Explore ways to diversify your offerings and stay ahead of your competitors.

Financial strategies for success: Discover effective financial management techniques and how to access funding resources for expansion.

Collaborative community engagement: Understand the importance of collaborative partnerships with other downtown businesses and community organizations to create a unified, thriving district.

Attendance is open to all local commercial property and business owners, managers, and entrepreneurs interested in revitalizing their businesses and contributing to the growth of our downtown community. Seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
