TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

JULY 25

Robert Stoglin, 49, of Taylor, was arrested at11:57 p.m. in the 100 block W. Lake Dr., after officers responded to an assault. An investigation revealed that a dispute over personal property led to Stoglin assaulting another person. Stoglin was arrested for assault causing bodily injury, a class A misdemeanor. Stoglin is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

JULY 30

Roberto Flores-Alvarado, 43, of Taylor, was arrested at 9:46 p.m. in the 600 block W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., after officers responded to a hit and run collision. Flores-Alvarado was identified as the driver by a witness of the collision. On July 30, at 1:57 a.m., officers located the vehicle driven by Flores-Alvarado driving in the area. Officers attempted to make contact with Flores-Alvarado who fled on foot but was soon apprehended by officers.

Flores-Alvarado was arrested for duty on striking unattended vehicle, a class B misdemeanor and evading arrest or detention on foot, a class A misdemeanor. Flores-Alvarado is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $10,000.
