“ Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”
– Robert Brault
Little things can make such an impact. Shout out to Anthony Sosa for these submissions and for spreading kindness all over town.
“The most Taylor, Texas, thing happened this morning. I was on Lake Drive, a baby duck crossed in the middle of the road, so I jumped out my mom’s van stopped traffic and lead the duckling across the street to the pond at Murphy Park with the assistance of a jogger on the sidewalk, who just happened to be coach Shelli Cobb. If that isn’t the most Taylor thing ever, I don’t know what is.” #duckcity “Whoever left this Redbox DVD in a basket at Taylor H-E-B, I just went ahead and returned it to the kiosk so you wouldn’t get charged for the whole DVD.”
Small gestures can brighten someone’s day. Holding a door or letting someone cut in front of you in line seems easy to do. Leave a great coupon next to that item in the grocery store. Give an unexpected compliment. Smile at someone who looks sad, you never know if your smile is the only smile they see that day.
These are little things we can do at no cost to anyone.
