The Amazing Women event, hosted by the Taylor Welfare Workers, will be held this Sunday, July 16 at 3:30 p.m. at the Dickey Givens Community Center in Fannie Robinson Park, E. MLK Jr. Blvd.
The event will feature three amazing, dynamic women — Gail Warren, Michelle Watson and Tenya Williams Jones. Each presenter will shed their vulnerability and boldly tell their stories of overcoming their adversities.
Sometimes life throws huge challenges our way, whether it’s a deadly illness or having to survive with no job or family to support you. With God’s blessings, with prayers and believing in themselves, these four women have overcome challenges.
The speakers will share how their faith guided them through storms. If you have been through a storm, getting ready to enter a storm or getting out of a storm, this event is for you.
The event is free and open to the community.
