βHe could be anywhere. We just want him back,β family members posted on social media.
Zachary is described as a 5β7 African-American man weighing 157 pounds. He has long dreadlocks and gray and black facial hair.
He is known to frequent areas around south Taylor and spends time with local homeless individuals.
Police have been searching areas frequented by several of the local homeless and speaking with people known to associate with Zachary.
According to family members, Zachary left home walking and did not take his phone or wallet. Based on the information, officers and detectives have searched the wooded area east of Gravel Pit Road and west of Mariposa Lane. Police have requested assistance from Team Texas K9s, a nonprofit organization that deploys to assist law enforcement, fire department and other emergency services agencies with search and rescue operations at the request of those agencies.
Team Texas K9s began their search Saturday, July 1, in the densely wooded area with trained K9s. Property owners in the area may be contacted for consent to search their properties that the K9s alert to during their tracking search.
