TAYLOR POLICE DEPARTMENT ARREST REPORT

DEC. 27

Samuel Jirasek, 29, of Taylor, at 1:55 a.m., in the 2300 block of W. Second St., officers arrested Jirasek and charged him with driving while intoxicated, a class B misdemeanor. Jirasek physically resisted officers during his arrest, and he was found to be in illegally in possession of a firearm. Jirasek was further charged with resisting arrest/detention, a class A misdemeanor, and unlawfully carrying a weapon, a class A misdemeanor. Jirasek received PR bonds that totaled $5,000 and we released the same day.

DEC. 29

Giovanni Walters, 17, of Taylor, at 11:25 p.m., in the 1100 block of Lexington St., officers apprehended Walters, who had an outstanding warrant for theft, over $100, a class B misdemeanor. Walters is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $3, 000.

Elizabeth McGinnis, 44, of Taylor, at 4:47 p.m., in the 1800 block of Oaklawn St., officers conducted a traffic stop on McGinnis, who had an outstanding warrant out of Travis County for state jail felony level theft. McGinnis was arrested for the warrant. McGinnis received a $10,000 bond before she was released to another agency.

Clinton Ortiz, 28, of Taylor, 11:23 a.m., in the 100 block of E. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., officers conducted a traffic stop on Ortiz, who had two outstanding warrants for driving while license invalid, a class C misdemeanor, and fail to appear, a class C misdemeanor. Ortiz was arrested for the warrants.
