HUTTO – Hutto Independent School District continues to stay busy with athletic camps this summer as the Hippos will again host another boys basketball camp.
From 7–8:30 p.m. on June 29, the Hippos will have their second boys basketball camp of the month as this session will focus on skills and training. Campers from fourth through eighth grade will join the Hutto coaching staff to discover uncommon skills, leadership traits and a mindset needed to stand out and get noticed.
Held at the main and auxiliary gym at Hutto High School, this skills and training camp for boys basketball will be one session only and cost $35.00 per camper.
The first camp back on June 6–8 was designed to give campers the proper instruction and guidance to help them reach their full potential as basketball players and students. Campers learned the proper skills and techniques for shooting, passing, ball handling and defending in these sessions.
