Kenneth Dale Kerlin, 68, passed away Saturday, June 17, at his home in Hare. He was born Oct.

Kenneth Dale Kerlin, 68, passed away Saturday, June 17, at his home in Hare.

He was born Oct.

9, 1954, in Taylor, to Milton and Laverne (Simcik) Kerlin.

Kenny was raised in the Brethren Church and attended services in Taylor as a youth. He graduated from Granger High School in 1973, and worked as a farmer in the Williamson and Milam County all of his life.

He enjoyed playing horseshoes, Wii golf, fishing and dominoes with friends. Kenny was a past member of the Granger Jaycees and the Granger Volunteer Fire Department. He had a big heart for animals and cared for many dogs and cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kenny is survived by his daughter, Tiffany and her husband Daniel Michalik of Granger; a brother, David and his wife Diana of Granger; grandchildren, Brody, Aspyn, Gracelyn and Creed Michalik. He is also survived by a niece, Rachael Strmiska; nephews, Davy and Christian (Devon) Kerlin; greatnephews, Ethan and Ty Strmiska; and a greatniece, Olivia Kerlin.

Honorary pallbearers are Brody Michalik, Dennis Bartosh and Albert Vrana Jr.

Pallbearers include Davy Kerlin, Christian Kerlin, Bruce Hinze, Ronnie Hinze, Sam Hinze and Clay Mazoch. Kenny will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m Monday, June 26. A funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot Street in Taylor.

Final burial will conclude at Taylor City Cemetery, 1101 East Fourth Street in Taylor.
