Lady Ducks cheer has a great week at TCU

FORT WORTH – Taylor High School cheerleaders and head coach Tracie Donahue had a very active week on June 7–10 as the Lady Ducks took part in a Universal Cheerleaders Association camp hosted at Texas Christian University.

FORT WORTH – Taylor High School cheerleaders and head coach Tracie Donahue had a very active week on June 7–10 as the Lady Ducks took part in a Universal Cheerleaders Association camp hosted at Texas Christian University.

The Lady Ducks showed off their spirit and brought home several team and individual awards home following a successful UCA camp at TCU. As a team, Taylor won the Leadership Award, placed first in Gameday Performance and was second in Camp Dance/ Stunt. Taylor also was presented with three Spirit Sticks as well as Gold and Blue Ribbon performances.

Rylie Dlouhy, Allie Valdez, Cameria Douglas and Izzy Streit were all honored as Varsity All–American Cheerleaders, while Cooper Mendoza was named Varsity All– American Mascot.

Lacey Thompson and Kaylie Quintero were selected as Junior Varsity All–American Cheerleaders, while Dlouhy won the Varsity Individual Leadership Award and Molly Schrock was honored as the Junior Varsity Individual Leadership Award recipient.
