As school districts across central Texas work to fill vacancies during a teacher shortage, Taylor ISD is offering a number of incentives for teachers to sign-on with Team Taylor. One of these incentives includes promoting paraprofessionals to full-time teaching positions and supporting them through Teachworthy, an educational program for Texas teachers, during their first year, known as the apprentice year, as they work to gain full teacher certification.

Taylor ISD’s newly signed teachers and their assignments include Eliza Ackerman, Content Mastery Teacher; Lindsey Cram, second grade teacher; Robyn Fernandez, first grade teacher; Kylie Oglesby, behavior teacher; Deborah Pachicano, first grade teacher; and LaToya Smith, behavior teacher.
