Linda Irene Stalsby, 75, was born June 27, 1947, in Taylor. Linda passed away in her sleep June 6, 2023, at Cedar Pointe Health Wellness Center. She resided at Grace Place in Taylor for 20 years.

Linda was known for her relationship with Jesus Christ by spreading His message by giving out her watercolor artwork. She was a kind-hearted, loving mom, sister and friend. Linda lived life to the fullest by enjoying the simple pleasures of visiting with family and friends, preparing a meal for them and playing dominoes.

One of her favorite scriptures was 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

Her loved ones say she was incredible optimistic and forgiving about every situation.

She would say, “Pray about it and give it to God.”

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Norma Lee Shofner, and Warren Stalsby; brother, Sam Shofner; granddaughter, Angeline Hoyle; and ex-husband Olin Biar.

She is survived by daughters, Peggy and Todd Hoyle; children, Jamianne, David, Jaren, Cassandra, Jadon, Karen and John Saul and child Luke, Kathy and Reggie Woods and children Garrett, Emory and Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her sister, Karen and Fred Hubner; brother, Dee and Susan Shofner and John Shofner; and six great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held June 17, at 1 p.m. at Grace Place Recreation Center, 301 Grace Lane in Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial in the fund of your choice.
