TAYLOR

Lady Patos soccer will host two separate camps this upcoming week that will provide individual instruction and team concepts under the Taylor girls soccer program on June 10-11.

The camp will teach players a rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of techniques, skills, and tactics. Players will be challenged at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a positive and fun environment.

Second through fourth graders will go from 9-11 a.m. with the fifth through seventh graders going later in the evening from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Stadium.

Campers must bring their own pairs of cleats and shin guards.

Be sure to contact Taylor girls soccer head coach Jose Flores via email at jflores@taylorisd. org for additional information on the camp.

HUTTO

The Hippos and Lady Hippos will have a three-day youth track and field camp for boys and girls from 8-10 a.m. on June 12-14 at Memorial Stadium.

The camp will focus on the program sharing its passion for track and field as well as showing campers how fun running and competing can be with a focus on maintaining a positive attitude throughout.

Campers will work blocks, running form, jumps, throws and handoffs. There will be modifications for the younger kids, and with the older ones, the camp will focus on more technical aspects of track and field.

The three-day camp costs $70.00 per camper with walk-ups accepted.

Campers should bring a water bottle, wear athletic shoes, shorts, a t-shirt and sunscreen.

Parents are encouraged to contact coaches Jennifer Hoffman at jennifer.hoffman@huttoisd. net or Christopher Hargrove at christopher. [email protected] for more information.
