This week the city of Taylor Parks and Recreation Department offered its first-ever youth programs and camps. The programs and camps will be held June through July in several different parks and offer a variety of activities and fun for kids this summer.

“We’re excited about this opportunity to provide additional programming to help activate our parks, and we’re grateful to the St. David’s Foundation, Taylor Independent School District and other community partners for joining together to provide more programs for our community,” said Parks and Recreation Director Tyler Bybee. The city received a grant from the St. David’s Foundation to hire recreation staff and fund programming.

For the free park pop-up activities, and to access to the Doris Roznovak Aquatic Center, adult supervision will be required for ages 11 and under.

For parents looking for paid drop-off camp options, a list of paid camps can be found at www.taylortx.gov/771/ Special-Events-Programs.
