Catherine A. Wilson, age 92 of Taylor, passed away May 3, 2023, at Round Rock Assisted Living.
She was born Nov. 9, 1930 in Thrall, to Ewald and Hildegard Herber. Catherine married Horrace A. Wilson in 1957, and they built a life together in Taylor.
She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and friend. She worked as a secretary for various businesses before joining her loving son Gary and her husband to work at Wilson Lincoln-Mercury in Taylor. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Harry Herber; sister, Miriam Hardin; and nephew, Kevin Herber.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sons, Gary and Roger Wilson; brother, Luther Herber; daughters-in-law, Sylvia Gutierrez and Michele Nase; and grandson Cooper Wilson.
There will be a graveside service held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Taylor City Cemetery.
