Thursday, June 1 at 9:30 a.m., you have the chance to learn about cheese making and long-term butter storage from Carol Westbrook and Monica Jarrel at the Davilla Community Center, 20803 FM 487, Bartlett.
Westbrook and Jarrel are two community members who have been teaching classes since March about homesteading practices. The Davilla Community Center classes have included beekeeping, home canning, genealogy and soap making.
On June 15 at 6:30 p.m., Mike Dudley will teach about water collection and storage.
The educational classes are free but hands-on craft classes could require a material fee.
