Monday, May 29 — At 10 a.m. at the Murphy Park Pavillion, salute and honor the soldiers who fought for our freedoms today, 1600 Veterans Dr. The Central Texas United States Submarine Veterans will hold a “Tolling the Boats” ceremony and call the roll of shipmates.

Road Projects Kick Off Celebration Wednesday, May 31 — From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Hutto will be hosting an educational road projects kick-off celebration at the corner of FM 1660 and US 79. The event is not a meeting and attendees will not be deliberating pending matters.

Baskerville Play Auditions

June 4 and 5 — At 7 p.m., auditions for Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville play, a Sherlock Holmes mystery, will be held at the Williams Event Center, 408 S.

Columbus Ave., Cameron. This whimsical spin off calls for five actors, four men and one woman, changing between more than 40 characters. Performance dates are July 29, 30 and Aug. 5 and 6 at the Williams Event Center, 408 S.
