SUN COMES OUT

The old adage “April showers bring May flowers” proved true last week. The first official concert of the spring series of Music on Main may have been cancelled due to rain in April, but May’s Music on Main event delivered the spring weather and fun to Heritage Square Thursday, May 18.

The old adage “April showers bring May flowers” proved true last week. The first official concert of the spring series of Music on Main may have been cancelled due to rain in April, but May’s Music on Main event delivered the spring weather and fun to Heritage Square Thursday, May 18.

Performances included folk music from Taylor’s own Brooke Ashley Eden with pals Kelly McRae and Mandy Marie Luke, as well as lively tunes from Hard Luck Revival, a Houstonbased band combining country, rock, and blues, with some Cajun and Tejano thrown in for good measure.

The Thursday night series will continue June 15 with young performers from the School of Rock followed by the 90’s party band Zoodust, said Richard Stone, chair of the Public Arts Advisory Board, which hosts the series.
